John Fitkin (1757 - 1845)
Born in 1789, Tring, Hertfordshire, John married his first wife Ann (maiden name unknown) on the 25th January 1772 in Tring. They had nine children, James (1783), William (1784), Sarah (1788-1865), Thomas (1788), Elizabeth (1789), Joseph (1791), Maria (1795), Luke (1800) and Lydia (1800).
John's first wife Ann died in 1821 and was burried on the 31st October 1821 in Tring, Hertfordshire, he then married Frances JUDGE on the 31st August 1822 in the parish church Tring.
John died in 1845 in Berkhamstead.
51 - Elizabeth Fitkin (1789 - ?)
Born in 1789 and christened on the 22nd November 1789, in Tring, Hertfordshire. Elizabeth married Jonas SMITH on the 25th July 1810 in Tring, Hertfordshire. They had two children which I am currently aware of Jonas and Maria (1812).
On the 1841 census Elizabeth and Jonas were living in Little Tring, Hertfordshire, neighbouring the property their daughter Maria and her family was living in. Jonas' occupation is listed as a painter.
