58 - Thomas Giffard (1785 - 1870)
Born in Marylebone, London on the 23rd January 1785 and christened on the 13th March 1785. Thomas married Hannah Mary HALL on the 22nd October 1827 in Saint Martins In The Fields, Westminster, London. They had five children Eliza Esther (1830), Stephen (1836), Amelia (1838), Lucy (1841), and Walter (1844).
Thomas's occupation was an attorney clerk. In 1841 through to 1870 the family lived at 2 Boddys Bridge, Christchurch, Surrey.
Thomas died on the 30th January 1870 at 2 Boddys Bridge, Christchurch, Surrey, aged 85, of senectus (old age), the informant was his wife Hannah Mary.
29 - Lucy Giffard (1841 - 1911)
Born 2 Boddys Bridge, Christchurch, Surrey on the 3rd November 1841. Lucy married Charles RICKETTS on the 14th January 1860 at the parish church in Christchurch, Surrey, the witnesses were Thomas Ricketts, Thomas Giffard and Emma Ricketts. On the marriage certificate Charles gave his address as 72 Hatfield Street, Christchurch, Surrey and Lucy gave her address as 2 Boddys Bridge, Southwark, London. They had seven children Charles (1860), Hannah (1864), Eliza (1869), Frederick (1872?), Rosina (1875), John (1879) and Alfred (1882).

Lucy died on the 10th May 1911 at St James Infirmary, Ouseley Road, London, aged 69, of carcinoma recti, the informant was her son Frederick Ricketts.
